PVG is a Spanish-born, London-based visual artist whose practice explores the physical forms that emotional and inner states can take.
Working with oil sticks, pastels, acrylic and spray paint, PVG creates layered figurative characters distinguished by moody, magnetic eyes, saturated colour and exaggerated features.
These figures act as emotional messengers. They hold the contradictions of human experience: fragility and defiance, beauty and discomfort, collapse and alignment.
Rather than resolving these tensions, the work allows them to exist at the same time. Through the paintings, PVG invites viewers to slow down, recognise what they are carrying and reconnect with their own sense of truth.
